Sedlec is best known for its ossuary, which attracts the most curious. Thousands of bones of plague victims have been brought together to form evocative silhouettes. The most astonishing feature is the coat of arms of the Schwarzenberg family, the signatory of this strange caprice. In the beginning, the bones were accumulated by the monks in the form of pyramids. It was not until 1870 that they began to create compositions, patterns! In addition to the ossuary, take the time to take a walk along the main street, Zámecká, which connects the two churches while enjoying the beautiful bourgeois houses on both sides of the street
