The Prague Gate (Pražská brána) and the Pilsen Gate (Plzeňská brána) date from the 14th century and were part of the old city walls, opening onto the main communication routes serving the city. They are among the best preserved in the country. You can also climb the almost 14-meter-high Municipal Tower (Městská rozhledna) for a nice view of the surroundings. Be prepared to wait a little while, as it's usually crowded in high season.
