Ouslavtsevo is the birthplace of a very famous th century actress (P.I. Kovaleva-Gemtchougova) who was the wife of Count Cheremetev. At the very place of their meeting, in Ouslavtsevo, the Earl built a chapel which remains today only remains. On the other hand, the village cathedral, which it built in 1805, is very well preserved.
