The Imperial Russia train is one of the few luxury trains still in operation. Its decoration and service is reminiscent of the great Russian era of the 1920s. The route of this train varies and you will have to book (very) far in advance to have the desired experience, such as a Trans-Siberian cruise, Moscow-Beijing, the Boreal night with a passage in St Petersburg, etc. It was recently acquired by RZD, the Russian railway company, which should be enough to reassure you about the seriousness of the company.
