IMPERIAL WAR MUSEUM NORTH
He is the little brother of the eponymous museum in London. His impressive forms were drawn by Daniel Libeskind, the architect responsible for the new World Trade Center in New York. At the origin of these metal curves, the idea of a broken globe that one would have reconstructed in a new form. The three superimposed layers represent the different battlegrounds: heaven, land and sea. In the interior, war vehicles, posters, films, military equipment and period objects cut the visit in a didactic way, around a few major themes or historical periods, such as the two world wars or even the 11-September. When museum galleries are immersed in the dark, walls are used as screen images of archival images with an impressive soundtrack (sirens, sonars, explosions, etc.).
