It's old like the city, but The Wharf is actually very recent. He was released from land in 1998 under the name Jackson's Wharf, and was almost razed to a modern-storey building. But the opposition's opposition buried the project, so today we still can enjoy its magnificent terrace with fountain on the edge of the canals and its vast interior finely decorated with vintage images. Bricks, apparent structure and woodwork provide a warm atmosphere in which English cuisine is enjoyed with excellent ales.
