Known as the Top Ship, as opposed to Porlock Weir's Bottom Ship, this excellent pub is a friendly address, set between a beautiful white-walled thatched cottage and a stone house. Eight real ales accompany the good local dishes, which are a little more sophisticated than usual in this kind of establishment. A popular address with locals and sometimes coveted by tourists at weekends. On certain evenings, live music evenings are organized. Six rooms are also available upstairs.
