It has more than 20 km of steep coastline. The coastline is dominated by the ruins of windmills from the 17th and 18th centuries. It is characterized by its beautiful 16th-century church of Sant Bartolomé and its pretty white hillside neighborhood. Two kilometers away, the port village has two beaches, one sandy (Playa del Arenal), the other more rocky to the south, in a bay surrounded by the Cabo de San Antonio and the Cabo San Martin. To the south, the Las Planes platform overhangs the sea by 200 meters, the three capes delimiting beautiful pebble coves such as Cala La Barraca or Cala Granadella. Jávea has been less damaged than other ports on the coast.
