MUSEU I NECRÒPOLIS PALEOCRISTIANS

The Early Christian necropolis of Tarragona is one of the best known and best preserved cemeteries of the Late Roman period. This is where the first Tarragonian Christians were buried. The necropolis offers a complete panorama of the different burials in use around the fourth and^fifth centuries. A way to get to know the inhabitants of the region 1,500 years earlier! The most beautiful pieces are kept in the Archaeological Museum.
