The word " balandra " refers to a small boat that fishermen used to sail in search of fresh meat, and by extension became the name of a sauce made of nuts, bread and garlic that they used to prepare to enhance their daily meal. But La Balandra is also a typical restaurant in the fishermen's district of Tarragona, El Serrallo, where locals who have come to celebrate an event and visiting gourmets like to go to enjoy excellently prepared Catalan sea food.

De l'entrée au dessert, tout était super bon à la Balandra. Un très bon resto à Tarragona. Il mérite le détour.
