On the Passeig Marítim (but unfortunately, without the view of the sea), an excellent address to discover the cuisine of "Gipsy Chef", a nice and media-friendly chef known for his inventive and a little bit scoundrel! Revisiting the traditional paella, Gipsy Chef delivers several surprising and very tasty versions, in a 100% Mediterranean decor. Our favorite: the one garnished with black botifarra, diced apples and burrata! Equally original is the paella with black scallops and calamari, or the black rice with mussels and poached egg!

In the heart of old Sitges, a stone's throw from San Sebastián beach, a popular bodega where you can share brave patatas, grilled sardines, cod fritters and squid in Andalusia at a modest price, in a rather local atmosphere. The service is very slow, but the servers are so friendly that you will still leave with a smile on your face. At the bottom of the bodega, a large and very pleasant patio for lunch in the open air, while your guests enjoy themselves in the adjoining park. A good address also for a simple aperitif with some tapas.

The best option if you want pizza or pasta without being disturbed by tourists.

The owner likes to define his establishment as a restaurant of Mediterranean cuisine "d'auteur". And indeed we can see a signature in these very elaborate dishes, most of which are served as portions to share: sardine tart, tuna tataki, semi-cooked foie gras and caramelized apples... A menu that is definitely in tune with the times, which is accompanied by an excellent selection of wines. Perfect welcome in all circumstances.

Since 1974, the Suñe family has been at the helm, and now the third generation is working to maintain the restaurant's positioning: a family kitchen that relies on the quality of the products. Its specialties are paellas and black rice, served with prawns and mushrooms for example. The space is small and the house is sought after, so it is better to book in advance, especially if you want to come on the weekend. During the week, the menus make the place a little more accessible to small budgets. The wine list is very well stocked.

The best burger joint in Sitges is this one. Located in the town center, El Santo is a warm and friendly place with a pleasant terrace, frequented by young people and families with children alike. The secret behind their divine burgers? First and foremost, fresh produce, but above all, the meat is cooked in a charcoal oven, giving it that special barbecue taste... Special mention must go to the waiters, whose friendliness and good humor play a big part in Santo's success.

It's simply the best tapas bar in Sitges... At aperitif time, everyone has a drink in the middle of the street, talking standing up because there is a crowd of visitors and locals alike. You can enjoy exquisite and varied tapas, especially fish tapas, and a bevy of pinchos, each one more appetizing than the last, informally (at the corner of the bar, at a small wooden table). Convivial atmosphere, very friendly staff, it is really a must in the evenings of the city. We recommend!

A safe bet in the port of Aiguadolç, to enjoy excellent Mediterranean cuisine by the water. Around its large tables with white tablecloths, many regulars and a few well-timed tourists come to enjoy fresh fish a la plancha, seafood,arrossos (rice-based dishes) and fideuá (noodle-based). On the menu, avoid the mayonnaise-laden salads and opt for a ration of mussels, octopus or chipirons, followed by the inevitable seafood paella "Laury", the house specialty.
