Visit this modernist cemetery that testifies to and preserves the mark of Lloret's Indian heritage
It bears witness to and preserves the mark of Lloret's Indian heritage. Impelled at the end of the 19th century by the families who had become wealthy in Cuba, its completion at the beginning of the 20th century allowed the participation of renowned architects such as Puig i Cadafalch. The idea being to transcribe the urban planning trends of the big cities, it is organized in avenues, promenades, small squares, blocks... while respecting social hierarchies. A visit is a must for one of the most significant groups of Catalan modernist art in this field.

Il se situé juste à la sortie de Lioret de Mar
Les cimetières sont en générales un lieu de recueillement, par contre celui-ci est aussi un lieu de visite par son originalité. Les allées propres nous font découvrir de magnifiques tombeaux, caveaux et statues. Certaines tombes sont impressionnantes par leur originalité et la grandeur. De nombreux architectes ont participé à la réalisation de ce cimetière. Fiches signalétiques à leur sujet. Une petite visite s’impose.
