Housed in a Noucentista building designed by the architect Rafael Masó, it provides extensive documentation on the town's resources. As well as information on the town's gastronomic calendar, which celebrates the oily fish served in suquet and the sea urchin season. Or the Porta Ferrada international festival, which hosts music concerts, theater and dance performances every summer (www.festivalportaferrada.cat).

L'office de tourisme est très bien situé au sud de la ville, proche du centre, de la vielle ville et de la plage. L'accueil est très aimable et permet de se renseigner sur les divers centres d'intérêt : la maison de sauvetage des naufragés, l'ermitage de Sant Elm, le casino La Constància, le marché municipal, le monastère de Sant Feliu, le cimetière, les maisons modernistes de Sant Pol, l'espace Carmen Thyssen, le centre des voies vertes, les divers musées (de l'histoire de la cité, du sauvetage maritime, du jouet).
