In the heart of the Pays d'Auge, 15 minutes south of Lisieux, the commune of Saint-Germain-de-Livet is known for its castle with a striking style. The building is made up of a panelled facade from the end of the 15th century and a stone and glazed brick construction from the Pré-d'Auge from the end of the 16th century, and serves as a museum where paintings, furniture and ceramics abound. In the town centre, a walking tour, "The little secrets of Saint-Germain-de-Livet, from the Noiremare wood to the Beech wood", allows you to discover the village and its history. Departure near the church of Saint-Germain, whose facade is listed as a historical monument.
