The road crosses a very beautiful part of the desert, with its dunes and hilly areas sometimes covered with shrubs. You can stop in a surprising village in the middle of the desert. The inhabitants, obviously not accustomed to having the visit, are a party to receive the people of the passage.

The crater itself was the result of Soviet exploration activities in the 1950 s. There are, in fact, several craters of variable size, but all are filled with the largest water, which is on fire. The sight of this huge round hole ignited in the middle of the desert is particularly striking at night. Some travel agencies organise overnight fisherman around the crater: an opportunity not to be missed!

Spectacle grandiose
En plein milieu du désert un cratère de feu se dessine. entouré de yourts et sans aucuns touristes le site est grandiose. A ne pas manquer au coucher du soleil et la nuit !
