Il me semble que c'est le plus pratique pour se rendre dans Londres même. Je préférais le terminal d'avant (actuellement le 3), c'était plus sympathique et moins bruyant. Je n'ai pas constaté de renforcement aux contrôles de sécurité (ça fait 22 ans que je fais souvent la liaison france-londres heathrow). Un petit conseil, n'oubliez pas votre ordonnance originale, si vous prenez des médicaments sous forme liquide.
On n'achète nos "liquides" de "beauté" au Boots en arrivant, c'est le même prix que dans Londres. Pour le restaurant, il y a Leon qui se trouve à l'étage avant de passer la sécurité (bon rapport/qualité prix).

Très bruyant, je conseille une escapade en ville malgré le prix du trajet si vous avez un temps d'attente assez long ou alors de bonnes boules Quiès. Sinon, il est facile d'usage, bizarrement à taille humaine (d'où le bruit incessant). Un bémol, l'eau dans les toilettes est chaude, ce qui est peu pratique pour remplir sa bouteille après le passage de la Sécurité, et les fontaines sont difficiles à trouver.

exceptional. I still I do not understand how it can work with only two runaways and 5 terminals. The organisation is massive, thsi is the hub of London and teh access is so easy with the piccadilly line. The new terminal 5 is full of nice shops. The only inconvenient is that when you arrive the palne start to go around and around forever because it needs to be included in the landing queue. A lot of fuel gone for nothing. Probably the third runaway can help on that but British people still discuss without decide (strange...)
