Opened in 1876, the Silver Vaults offers strong rooms buried underground and built to protect the riches of certain great fortunes: important papers, jewelry… then, over the years, customers change and it's mostly merchants selling silverware that come here to put their objects in the shelter. Then it became common to see clients come in the strong room to see and buy these objects. This tradition has remained and, even today, the 40 dealers essentially offer, in addition to various objects of values, silver articles, old as modern, but also jewelry.
