Brasserie with sea view with à la carte suggestions without fish or seafood in Saint-Aubin-sur-Mer.
This brewery on the dam and the sea view is worth its decor (vinyl with walls, pictures of artists and souvenirs) than for the plate. If you haven’t come with an idea of your desires, you will browse a card loaded with all kinds of reading. Pizzas, cakes, burgers, fries, grilled meat, andouillette, beef tartare: Some dishes are named after stars and cinematographic eye. We’re staying there, seduction. Strangely, more formula (entry, dish, dessert), as before. Only suggestions à la carte, but no fish (just cod) or seafood. No big culinary elites, either. At our disagreed, yesterday’s good old fried fries were replaced by potato chips, served warm, but cold. Home-smoked trout would gain to be trenched in thin slats rather than imperfect portions, beef tartare, cut to knife and, conversely, its ingredients (onions, capers…), less grossly minced. Finally, salad would be better nature than drowned in balsamic vinegar. Something unimaginable: We left half of our meal. In short, this umpteenth test was a very bad surprise for us (we spend the exaggerated price of burgers, pizzas and wines, the tasks on the beautiful red benches…). Having danced on his reputation, would Le Charleston have taken his feet in the carpet? Really bad.
