Inside the old city walls, in the "Bastione della Rimembranza" (one of the six bastions that make up the walls of Grosseto), is the Locanda de' Medici, managed by the Peccianti family since 1918. Both a wine bar and a restaurant: they drink, eat and buy wine. The menu is extremely tempting: bruschette, foie gras, cold cuts and cheeses, pappardelle with wild boar, tortelli, mushroom soup, tripe, tagliata, cod with livournaise...
