Observatory inaugurated in 1872, known to house the largest telescope in Italy. For almost two centuries, in the vibrant Oltrarno district, the Romanelli Gallery has been the sculpture workshop of the eponymous family. It is a fascinating, moving and original place, housed in a former church, where sculptures in marble, bronze or plaster are legion. This workshop, one of the oldest in Europe, also offers sculpture courses for all levels.
