Authentic Tuscan cuisine, with some recipes taken from medieval cooking, such as the famous carabaccia (onion soup). Not to be missed: delicious carabaccia potatoes, but also homemade pasta, in particular alla chiantigiana (with meat sauce flavored with local aromas), all washed down with chianti. Also meats such as tagliata and charcoal-baked chops or cinghiale in umido. Excellent homemade desserts and excellent regional wine list. Lovely terrace.
