At^no. 16 Via Vitani, Osteria del Gallo has been open since 1927. The atmosphere is that of an authentic family brasserie, with wooden tables, checkered tablecloths, bottle-covered shelves and a long wooden counter with a few antipasti and desserts on display. You'll taste good local cuisine with some influences from the nearby Val Chiavenna mountains. Specialties include the inevitable grilled fish, polenta with braised beef and charcuterie platter.

This fishmonger's shop, which displays all the lake and sea fish of the region, prepares seafood specialities served to take away or to taste on the spot, set up at a few high tables with stools. The seafood soup is really delicious, but everything is good. We have an offer of Japanese cuisine with sushi, sashimis but also risottos, fried food... The prices are quite salty on the other hand, but everything is fresh and of high quality. Interesting to discover with the eyes before exploring with the belly.
