The airline operates several daily flights from Paris Roissy Charles de Gaulle to Linate (9 km from the centre) and Malpensa (45 km from the centre) airports in both directions. From the provinces, in general, direct flights from Lyon and Nice, or with stopovers in Paris from Toulouse and Marseille, Clermont-Ferrand and Nantes.

This airport, located 5 km from Bergamo and 45 km from Milan, has been chosen as a place of arrival and departure by some low cost airlines.

Orio Shuttle - Airpullman. Shuttle service between Milan Central Station and the airport. Departure from the bus parking lot on the right side of Piazza Luigi di Savoia station. From 4 am to 11.30 pm, 60 minute ride. One way €5; Return €10.

Terravision: regular bus connection between the airport and Milan Central Station, one way €5; return €9.

Italy's second largest airport, with 25 million passengers a year. It serves all major international destinations. Duty free welcomes big names in fashion: an excellent pastime while waiting for your flight!

Malpensa Express : connects the airport to Cadorna station in the centre of Milan. Journey time 40 minutes - every day (5h - midnight). Ticket 13 €.

Malpensa Shuttle : connects the airport to Central Station and Linate Airport. Ticket 10 €.

In the evocative framework of a th century building, once orphanage, the Institut français de Milan is setting up a rich and varied programming with the aim of promoting French contemporary culture. Interesting exhibitions, symposiums and projections. A well stocked library is also available for free.

Lombardy's main railway hub, the station is just a few metro stops from the historic center. It is widely recognized for its history and architecture: the grandiose mass of the central station (207 meters long) was solemnly inaugurated on May 15, 1931. A triumph of Mussolinian neoclassicism, its walls are adorned with reliefs and statues embodying the symbolism of the regime. Restored between 2005 and 2010, it is Italy's second-largest railway station, with an annual passenger flow of around 120 million.

Milan's second-largest airport, it serves only national and European short-haul traffic. Several low-cost airlines depart from here.

Bus 73: connects Linate with the center of Milan. Piazza San Babila-Linate every 10 minutes (5h35-00h35). Linate-Milan every 10 minutes (5h35-00h35). Ticket €1.50.

Airbus Stazione Centrale: the shuttle run by Milan's urban transport company ATM links the airport to Milan's Central Station (departing from Piazza Luigi di Savoia) every 30 minutes (6am-11pm). Ticket: €5.

Cab: between €15 and €25.

After the Stazione di Milano Centrale, this is one of the most important stations in the city: about 25 million passengers pass through every year. It is used by suburban, regional and national trains, as well as the TGV (high-speed train) connecting Milan and Paris (Gare de Lyon). From this station, you can reach the cities of Bergamo, Cremona, Varese, Turin, Bologna, Florence, Rome, Naples and Salerno by train. The station was opened in 1961 and takes its name from the nearby Garibaldi Gate of the ancient city walls.

ATM (Azienda Transporti Milanesi) provides a dense and efficient public transport network in and around Milan.

Bus. More than 50 bus lines cover all areas of the city.

Tramways. Although modern carriages have almost entirely replaced the old ones, historic models from the early ^20th century can still be seen on some lines.

Metro. 5 lines, operating from 6 a.m. to midnight. In addition, the Passante Ferroviario connects Milan's railway stations.

The Paris Gallieni Porte Bagnolet bus station is an ideal starting point for bus travel in France and Europe. The Eurolines and isilines bus companies offer routes to many cities in Austria, Belgium, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Morocco, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Ukraine and the UK. Departure times are varied, and some routes are available every day. The Paris Gallieni Porte Bagnolet bus station is easily accessible by public transport and has all the amenities required by travelers.

Located in the university district of Città Studi, this train station connects Milan with certain destinations in southern Lombardy. A shuttle service connects this station with Linate airport every 20 min.

To the north-west of the city, Milan's main bus station is the terminus and departure point for the Flixbus and Blablabus companies, which link the capital of Lombardy to Paris and a number of French (Lyon, Nice, Marseille...) and European cities. Although trains are preferred, daily buses to Italy's major cities leave regularly from here, as do regional buses to visit the Lake District or the Italian Alps. Information desk and ticket sales. BikeMi is the Milan City Council's bike-sharing service. This Milanese Vélib, managed by the ATM public transport company, has enjoyed growing success since its inception, among locals and tourists alike. There are 325 stations all over the city, the service is very inexpensive and it's easy to find a free bike using the application. The only drawback is that you need to be registered to obtain your access code. Maximum use: 2 hours.

Bikes of all kinds - city bikes, racing bikes, mountain bikes, folding bikes, children's bikes - in this professional workshop and at the same time very well stocked shop. Helmets, bells, baskets, saddles, bags, pants, sports jerseys; for pedalling through the streets of Milan, the historical Rossignoli sign along Corso Garibaldi offers everything. The Trenord company provides rail connections between Milan's main stations (Rogoredo, Centrale, Cadorna...) and various Lombardy towns within a 30 km radius. The 13 S lines provide easy access to the whole of Lombardy thanks to the passanti, omnibuses that serve Saronno, Lecco, Monza and Pavia. Tickets can be purchased on the Trenord or Trenitalia websites, or directly at the station. Don't forget to validate your ticket (also online, thanks to the check-in system).
