Read moreOn the road south of Tyre on the beach, this former guest house has been converted into a 65 room hotel. Renovated in 2016, the hotel has an ideal location facing the turquoise sea and also has a private beach with deckchairs, as well as a large swimming pool. The rooms on the ground floor are all new, impeccably clean and carefully decorated. All are equipped with a balcony. Choose those that offer a sea view (a little more expensive...). The Rest House has a large restaurant that serves Lebanese and international cuisine, with a terrace by the pool. Access to the pool and beach is permitted for non-residents.

Read moreAlthough the hotel may seem a little out of town and dirty from the outside, it's well located, just a 5-minute walk from the souk and a 10-minute walk from the old port. Rooms are simple but clean, with air-conditioning and private bathroom. Although the sea view is not extraordinary, it's the best room you can find in Lebanon for this price.
