FÊTE DU FROMAGE

Every year in early May, Pont-l’Évêque celebrates its famous square-shaped AOC cheese. On the programme: market, demonstrations and tastings, parade of the Knights of the Confrérie du Pont-l’évêque, concerts, workshops for youngsters (do you know how to milk a cow and make real butter?), "pont-l’évêque d’or" (farm and dairy) competition... The Fête du Fromage celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2023. It’s a folk event that’s sure to put you in a good mood. A word of advice: bring your basket!
