The monastery of Treskavec is hidden in the foothills of Mount Hedley. The place is wild, desert, splendid. It seems that from the highest antiquity, between the third century BC and the th century of our era, this site was the seat of a city named Kolobaise. There are several very old inscriptions, some of which are part of the remains of a temple dedicated to Apollo.
