The country's main wine region extends along the Vardar valley to Greece and begins on the outskirts of Skopje. The Kartalov family set up a veritable wine cellar, producing red and white wines from varieties (riesling, cabernet sauvignon, merlot and vranec) from local wine growers. Almost 200 000 l/year. It is not only possible to buy bottles on site, but also to taste and visit. The wine tastings include four different wine glasses as well as a solid snack based on traditional dishes (cheeses, meat, oven-baked burek, etc.).
