The funicular connects the castello (village) of Borgo Maggiore to the historic centre of San Marino, 166 metres higher. Departures are every 15 minutes and the journey is very fast (about 2 minutes). The feeling of elevation in front of this almost untouched mountain face is striking. The nearest car parks to the resort can be reached from Via 28 Luglio and Via Oddone Scarito. Important information: the car parks around Borgo Maggiore are cheaper than those on the heights of the city.
