Rimini is often referred to as Italy's trendy destination, frequented mainly by young people who come here to party in the nightclubs of the riviera. Rimini is the city that never sleeps, except during the day on the deckchairs at the beach. This is in fact one of the realities of the destination: a long sandy beach facing the Adriatic Sea, where deckchairs and umbrellas in rows of onions await holidaymakers; a charmless seafront where restaurants, bars, hotels and discos follow one another. However, if you go away from the marina, you will discover an interesting historical centre, with Roman remains and Renaissance monuments, as well as an old fishermen's quarter with pastel-coloured houses
