If the cuisine is more sea-focused, there is no shortage of land and vegetarian proposals. As an appetizer, you can choose between kadaif shrimps, sea urchin tartar or passatelli in shellfish broth. Along one of the busiest streets of the historic centre is the Ca' de Ven, in Italian casa del vino (house of wine), a warm place where locals and tourists alike meet in a cheerful and relaxed atmosphere. It is housed in a building dating back to 1542 and has a magnificent setting, with a succession of large halls, each one reminiscent of an old pharmacy with high wooden shelves, a covered garden and a wine storehouse with its barrels. On the menu: pasta, grilled meats or a piadina accompanied by a good glass of wine.

On the ground floor, you can buy local products and, while waiting to be able to cook them yourself, you can go to the bar of the establishment (the M-Eat Corner) for a dish of the day accompanied by a good glass of wine, or on the first floor to taste refined dishes prepared by the chef in a spacious and modern room. Very appetizing à la carte menu, with the traditional passatelli and cappelletti, but also a wide choice of meat and fish dishes with their gourmet accompaniments. Very popular with tourist groups.

In 1968 Felice Malpassi, the son of farmers, opened a food store in Ravenna with the aim of promoting the products of his Romagna region. Today it is Giordana and Roberto, a passionate couple, who have taken over the business and share their love of cooking and authentic products. This shop, which is a caterer, also has a catering area where you can taste typical dishes of the local cuisine. Note: piadina and homemade pasta, platters of cold meats and cheeses.

Here, the tables have invaded the whole room, right up to the stage in front of the screen and, in fine weather, they overflow onto the terrace.
