A classic Bolognese restaurant, which has occupied a downtown alley since the late 1950s. In this discreet and welcoming trattoria, one breathes an air of the vecia Bulagna, "the old Bologna". The cuisine is traditional, the one of Bolognese grandmothers busy in the kitchen stretching the dough and filling it with stuffing or cutting it into tagliatelle, watching the bollito misto simmering or the stinco candying in the oven. A simple and tasty cuisine, and very comforting, which is worth the detour.

Every dish of my three visits have been an experience, undoubtedly cooked with love and respect for taste and tradition. The food is simple, direct and precise in its flavor, with room for each ingredient to shine.
A place I will always look foward to dine when visiting Bologna.
Crescentine as antipasti are highly recommended. Crunchy warm bread from this region that you too off with lard and cheese! Or with some fresh cut salami or mortadella! Incredible flavourful and delicious.
First time we tried passatelli in brodo, and the soup base was so tasty! Boys loved it.
Buttata di manzo was equally delicious, a cold dish, like a tartar but solid.
Cotelatta di Bolognese, big piece of wienerschnitzel but with added cheese, cured meat slices and cream on top. Heavy but delicious!
Great desserts too!
