Sanctuary dedicated to the Virgin, located at the top of the Pigna in San Remo.
At the top of the Pigna, this sanctuary dedicated to the Virgin is particularly dear to the people of San Remo who could spot it when they were at sea. Built to celebrate the liberation from the rule of the Doria family in 1361, the building today has a structure that was remodelled in the Baroque period. Inside, you can admire a painting of the Virgin and Child by Nicolo da Voltri (15th century), considered miraculous.
