To reach England from Normandy, there are three ports and three possibilities: Le Havre, Caen-Ouistreham and Cherbourg. From each of these ports, you can embark on one of the ships of the fleet, direction Portsmouth, which offers direct access to the main motorways and is 2 hours from London by car. Crossings average between 2h15 (for fast ships) and 8h45 for a night ferry crossing. Every year, hundreds of thousands of passengers board the ferry.
