A new city with a port area that is not very exciting, Tema is not very interesting for tourists. The 0 degree meridian of Greenwich passes there. The city is divided into different communities . The commercial area is called Community 1, whose center is located 1 km north of the port. Here you will find the market, the post office, the shipping companies and the best restaurants. The busiest part of town is Community 8, 4 km north and less than 2 km from the Toll Road Roundabout to Accra. The best hotels are located here, and it is easy to find a good restaurant.
