Located as its name suggests in the old James Town district, this bar is a meeting place for creative people, artists, writers... The Honeysuckle is an Irish-style pub located along Ring Road East, with a distinctly British ambience, as if completely unaware that it's in Africa. Inside, you'll have no trouble finding a beer to your taste, as well as all sorts of rather well-turned cocktails. There's also an excellent range of dishes, mainly international with a Ghanaian twist. A must at soccer matches, this pub also has a similar establishment in East Legon.

Whether in the inner courtyard of the hotel of the same name, or in one of the two rooms of the Byblos bar, one always has a pleasant time. If you are feeling peckish, one of the many Lebanese gastronomic specialties on the menu will satisfy you. The non-alcoholic drinks (for cocktails, aim for happy hour, late afternoon/early evening) are also excellent, like the papaya-ginger smoothie! Mainly foreign customers, good atmosphere, rather relaxed. We like it.

It's a good place to eat local food and try cocktails made with local spirits (try the "Republic"), in a multicultural atmosphere. We love it here.

Opened at the very beginning of 2018, Ozzie's Beach Palace recently celebrated five years in business. Five years in which this beach bar has managed to make a name for itself in the capital. It's a place to enjoy great cocktails, late in the day and in the evening, but also to enjoy regular art exhibitions and live music concerts. Conveniently located in the Labadi neighborhood, it's a great place to meet up with a group for a drink, but also to enjoy some grilled food and other snacks while taking in the ocean view.

The +233, the name referring to the country's telephone code, is the best place in the city to listen to live music. Many Ghanaian and African artists perform there. In a subdued atmosphere, you will enjoy listening to jazz, blues and high life, outdoors, while sipping a good cocktail. The courteous and professional staff will take care of the rest and will offer you grilled meats, burgers, hot dogs... If you want to book a table, you will probably have no trouble remembering the number to dial.

Opened in 2017, Sandbox Beach Bar is a sprawling outdoor lounge bar with a view of the sea offering a variety of whimsical-looking cocktails. The place attracts a good crowd, especially on weekend nights. For those who want to take a dip (don't forget your swimsuit), a large staircase leads directly to the beach, which the SandBox terrace overlooks. At nightfall, the DJ raises the temperature. The cuisine is simple: fast food, grilled meats and local specialties to eat on the go. A very nice place.

With its pretty wooden storefront, Gaia Organics Cafe reveals its offer just by its name. Here you can enjoy delicious coffees, accompanied by a variety of homemade cookies, cakes, pancakes and other sweets, but also fruit juices and smoothies, as well as incredible hearty bowls made with local organic products. Many vegan options as well. We come here at any time of the day for a restorative break.
