Historic bookshop offering engravings, antiquarian and second-hand books, also housing a gallery dedicated to Irish painters.
This shop is an institution not only in Galway, but in the whole of Ireland. The shop has been in existence since 1940 and sells prints, old and second hand books. It has the largest collection of books available in the country. Part of the building houses a gallery, exclusively dedicated to contemporary Irish painters. A cultural Mecca in the city. Contemporary literature and current bestsellers can also be found here.
