Built in 1845, in the centre of Galway on the famous Eye Square, the Hardiman (formerly the Meyrick Hotel) opened its doors to the public a few years later, in 1852. It is certainly the most famous hotel in the city. Its spacious and very pleasant rooms have retained a very 19th century charm, with the added bonus of great comfort! A short fifteen minute walk from the beach, this elegant hotel offers a magnificent view of Galway. A favourite establishment!
