Museum presenting the history of the dairy products industry, particularly butter, from medieval times to the present day.
Located next to St Anne's Shandon Church, this small museum presents the history of the dairy industry, and in particular butter, from medieval times to the present day. In the 19th century, Cork was the largest exporter of butter in the world, thanks to a system of quality control that established Cork's reputation on the international stage and a unique skill in packaging techniques that allowed products to be shipped over great distances and in all climates.

Un petit musée sur l'histoire du beurre en Irlande. On y apprend des informations intéressantes mais c'est un peu rébarbatif et on a vite fait le tour. La vidéo de présentation est intéressante mais un peu longue.
There is nothing to see. There is only one large room where you can see some objects production. Otherwise you listen to a film during 30min.
A little disappointing this museum and too. Very instructive it is but a little off-putting for the french people.
