Very popular with locals and tourists alike, this covered market, housed in a typical Victorian building dating back to 1881, is home to stalls selling mainly second-hand clothes, shoes, accessories, jewellery, records and vinyl and groceries. There are also independent designer brands; there is something for every style, even if it is more ethnic-bohemian-hippie. There are also cafés, including the friendly Simon's Place Coffee Shop for a smoothie or a slice of pie, and quality antique shops.
