Surrounded by orchards, the coastal village of Kivik is famous for its apple cider with a particularly fine and sweet taste. Every year, in mid-July, the Kivik fair attracts tens of thousands of visitors for two days. It is an opportunity to buy and sell just about anything you can imagine. You can bungee jump from a pylon, but also listen to storytellers, singers... The parking place costs 40 SEK, but the entrance is free. If you miss this fair, you can attend the apple market which takes place at the end of September (around the 27th). In any case, you can stop by the Apple House (Äpplets Hus), to learn about the history of the fruit, its different varieties and the secrets of cider making.
