Only 1 hour from Stockholm by boat, this tiny island is truly peaceful and offers all the comfort for those who want to relax and forget the hustle and bustle of the city. Despite the impression of having landed at the end of the world, there is a restaurant, a small hotel, a youth hostel, a camping and a few shops. Acquired by the first director of the Nobel Foundation in 1906 who built a new Art nouveau house, the island returned to the city of Stockholm in 1944. It now belongs to the foundation of the archipelago. A beautiful lawn and sand beach welcomes you near the pier. Take a minute walk to reach the hotel, as well as your picnics, because the monopoly selling sandwiches makes the snack prohibitif. Rental of bicycles and rames, sauna.
