Since 2006, the Cidre et Dragon festival has been welcoming fans of the fantasy and medieval worlds to "Merravilla", Merville-Franceville being renamed for the occasion! The event, organized by the Raid Tolkien association and the commune, features literature, street theatre, a medieval market, crafts, historical re-enactments, concerts, life-size role-playing games and more. Every year, some 80,000 visitors who love elves, trolls and medieval history take part in this unique event.
