Travel Guide Pana

Located 22 km from Rantepao and less than 2 km from Batutumonga, it's not the most photogenic of sites, due to the darkness in which it's immersed and its steep slope (the problem can be alleviated with a wide-angle lens), but it lends a special atmosphere. The Pana cemetery has the particularity of being completely invisible. To get there, you have to find a passageway between the rocks and go a little deeper into the undergrowth. The tombs are then carved out of the rock. What's special about this place is that the rocks don't overhang the visitor, but lie opposite, a little below, in an impressive green abyss.
