You can enjoy Indonesian cuisine comfortably seated on carpets or chairs, almost wondering where you've landed. The place, a motley mix of Dutch-era antiques, Javanese masks and paintings, has a bric-a-brac atmosphere. The waiters even wear traditional Javanese uniforms. On the menu: chicken brochettes with satay sauce, fried tempeh and/or tofu, grilled shrimps, nasi goreng or nasi rawon (beef shank stew with kluwak nuts). An unusual place that's well worth a visit.
