Pleasant location, close to Merdeka Square and some of Jakarta's finest buildings, including the Grand Mosque. Very large swimming pool. Very popular discotheque. Founded on President Sukarno's initiative in the 1960s, it was conceived as independent Indonesia's second international-standard hotel. When it opened in 1974, it was Jakarta's largest hotel, located near Lapangan Banteng, a historic site from colonial times. Modern, air-conditioned rooms equipped with top-class amenities.

Excellente situation, près de la grande mosquée et du monument national. Charme un peu vieillot, parfois défraîchi mais halte agréable avec chambres spacieuses et personnel attentif. Une vraie grande piscine, ce qui est assez rare et un jardin exotique pour y flâner à la tombée de la nuit. Peut-être pas la meilleure référence de Jakarta mais un choix sans risque.
