From the name of the airline that formerly served San Pedro, the institutional Sophia is the hotel receptive with the greatest capacity for hospitality. In addition, there are regular businessmen in delegations and other groups of visiting seminarians in the Lower Sassandra region, which constitute a large part of the hotel's clientele, the hollow period of which is between December and mid-February. Among the highlights of the hotel, apart from its huge terrace, its large swimming pool and its beautiful private beach: the bar and its live concerts, the varied and qualitative cuisine of the restaurant, as well as a friendly reception and service (special mention to the staff of the restaurant). For the rest, the rooms are simple, spacious and comfortable, furnished and decorated without any particular search effort, and for the rates charged, the breakfast buffet would offer a little more choice. Finally, despite ongoing renovation work, one cannot help but think that the remarkable potential of the sites could be even better exploited. The Sophia Hotel is nevertheless a reference, and whether you stay there or not, it is always pleasant to sit there on the terrace, even for space and view, particularly appreciable at the end of the day and in the evening.
