A gastronomic reference in Abidjan, Le Jardin gourmand is run by Jacques Lainé, a Burgundian restaurateur who ran Les Trois Mousquetaires, a Michelin-starred table in Cotonou (Benin). Here the intimate setting in the large lounge, the veranda and the private garden offers "haute couture" cuisine: sweetbreads with truffles; crab millefeuille; roasted scallops, venerated black rice... Efficient and discreet staff, delicate presentation, exquisite flavours to the palate and price accordingly. Exceptional cellar. A beautiful address.
