It's a large town stretching along the coast. Among its many assets are its vast palm grove overlooked by a beautiful fort surrounded by greenery, its long stretch of white sandy beach where the water is 30°C and bathing is pleasant, its seafront corniche where you can see fishermen at work and stroll endlessly... A new luxury residential and hotel complex called Fujaïrah Beach is due to open very soon and will give a modern touch to this town whose 80s architecture doesn't really appeal. In the meantime, it's worth stopping off for a visit to the fort.
