BAIT SHEIKH SAEED BIN HAMED AL-QASSIMI

Built in 1898 in the fishing village of Kalba, you can visit the old fort and the residence of Sheikh Saeed bin Hamed al-Qassimi. Both are interesting examples of Arab architecture. An exhibition devoted to archaeological excavations tells the story of how various relics, including weapons and farming implements, were unearthed on the site. These are on display here, along with a collection of musical instruments.
