This Sharjah enclave lies between the border with Oman and the Emirate of Fujairah. In a world of water and greenery, the mangrove of the Khor Kalba lagoon, recognized by the Ramsa Convention as a wetland of prime importance, includes the oldest mangrove trees in the Emirates.
